What is a masked Aadhaar and how do I get one?
A masked Aadhaar hides the first 8 digits of your Aadhaar number and shows only the last 4. We accept only masked copies and never store your full Aadhaar number.
To download it: go to the myAadhaar website, choose Download Aadhaar, log in with the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile, and select 'Do you want a masked Aadhaar?'. The PDF password is usually the first 4 letters of your name in capitals followed by your birth year.
