What is a risk profile and how does MF Finder use it?
Your risk profile describes how much ups and downs you can handle. MF Finder works it out from your age, income, investing experience, how you would react to a 20% fall, and what matters most to you.
There are five levels: Conservative, Moderately conservative, Balanced, Growth and Aggressive. Each level has an asset mix, and we pick the top-scored fund in each category from our analysis and split your budget across them.
How long you can stay invested matters most: money needed within a year goes only into liquid funds, and shorter horizons get a safer mix even if you are comfortable with risk.
