What is a lumpsum (one-time) investment?
A lumpsum investment means putting a larger amount into a fund at one time, for example a bonus or savings.
It works well when you already have the money and plan to stay invested for long. Because the whole amount goes in at one NAV, the timing of the market matters more than with a SIP.
