What is STP?
STP (Systematic Transfer Plan) moves a fixed amount every week or month from one fund to another fund of the same fund house.
A common use: put a lumpsum in a low-risk liquid or debt fund, then transfer it gradually into an equity fund. This spreads your entry into the market, like a SIP from your own lumpsum.
